The CSS is seeking out a motivated individual to fill the following Standing Chair Position:

Chair, Life Sciences

- reach out and encourage chapter-level reps
- seek and share session content via: website, twitter, FB, LI, CSS Forum
- Seek and maintain contact with session experts in CSS and in other orgs
- assist Summit program chair for soliciting Summit session chair, presenters, papers and posters
- review or pass for review submitted articles within session
- look for and suggest opportunities to establish session-related events at national, chapter levels or with Partners  and Media
- assist Membership with identifying/supporting membership incentive submissions
- commit to the role for at least 6 months
- identify another individual as back-up

Standing Session Chair - Planetary Exploration

Standing Chair Position: Mr Keagan Lee

The CSS is pleased to announce, effective immediately, that Mr Lee will be assuming the duties of said position. Keagan Lee is a first year student in the Space Engineering Program at York University. He grew up in St. Thomas Ontario and graduated from Central Elgin Collegiate Institute with honors. He spent 6 years with 741 Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron where he was part of the Drill Team and Flag Party and attained the rank of Warrant Officer Second Class.

Webmaster

The Society is currently seeking a webmaster to maintain its website.  The candidate should have experience in Content Management Systems, in particular Joomla, and have a track record of rapid response to technical issues.

 Duties:

- perform regular maintenance on the Joomla server

- provide technical support to Society staff for web-related problems

- ability to integrate new functionality into the website with minimum of guidance

Start Date:  Immediately

Term of Service: One year

Rate:  Volunteer
