To keep Canada's space industry competitive on the international market and to continue to bring benefits to Canadians, the Society provides a multitude of opportunities for professional development and networking for those that are interested in becoming involved in the space industry.  With members working at all levels in the industry, the Canadian Space Society is one of Canada's central sources for science, engineering, business, marketing and education talent.

To ensure Canada's space professionals, and those wishing to enter the Canadian space industry, remain at the forefront of space development, the Society offers a variety of volunteer positions that teach valuable skills often sought by the space industry in Canada.  The Society relies heavily on the commitment of its volunteers in these positions to further the mandate of the Society and are often put in touch senior members of the industry, government and academia.  Preference for Society positions will be given to Society members.
