Yuri’s Night 2013
Come celebrate a great space achievement of the past and help plan great space achievements for the future.
Yuri’s Night is a global celebration of the first flight into space by a human, cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin. On April 12, 1961, Gagarin did something no one had done before—orbit Earth in his Vostok 1 spaceship.
You can toast Yuri’s success with drinks and snacks in a spectacular space setting, and discuss current and future space exploration possibilities with space experts and enthusiasts.
Join us at the Canadian Museum of Aviation and Space on Friday, April 12, 2013 at 6:00 pm. Demonstrations by:
- Royal Astronomical Society of Canada
