Standing Session Chair, Education and Outreach: Mr Zac Trolley
The CSS is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Zac Trolley as the Standing Session Chair, Education and Outreach.
Zac's passion for space began at a young age, and believes educating young people about space is a priority if Canada is to become a leader in the space economy. He volunteers his time to do public talks about space exploration at schools, science centers and observatories. His lifelong dream is to one day live on Mars.
He's a graduate of both SAIT in Calgary and Lakehead University in Thunder Bay earning a tech diploma and bachelor of engineering in the electrical field. He's worked in the Alberta oil patch for several years in various roles from shop installer, technical designer, to project engineer. He's a 2014 graduate of the space studies program from the International Space University and currently works at the Calgary Board of Education as an engineer in the maintenance department.
In his spare time he enjoys participating in adventure races such as the Spartan and Tough Mudder as well as sci-fi themed TV, video games, and books. He's always on the lookout for great cookie recipes.
